Braemar in Royal Deeside, is at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. It is approximately 90 kilometres west of Aberdeen, 90 kilometres north of Perth and Dundee and 150 kilometres north of Edinburgh.
Follow the signs for Deeside and Braemar west on the A93. Continue on the A93 when you reach Braemar. Callater Lodge is on the left.
From Edinburgh follow signs for the A90 and the Forth Road Bridge. The A90 will turn into the M90, which should be left at junction 11 (Perth). At Perth follow the signs for the A93 to Braemar. Braemar is 33miles (50km) from Blairgowrie and 10 miles (16km) after Glenshee ski area. Callater Lodge is on the right.
From Glasgow follow the M8 east, taking junction 13 onto the M90, signposted Stirling. Stay on the M90, which will merge with the M9 at Stirling. The M9 will then become the A9 just outside Perth. At Perth follow the signs for the A93 to Braemar. Braemar is 33miles (50km) from Blairgowrie and 10 miles (16km) after Glenshee ski area. Callater Lodge is on the right.
There is a bus service ( Stagecoach service 201 ) from Aberdeen to Braemar.
The most convenient airports for Braemar are Aberdeen airport 62 miles (100 km) and Edinburgh airport 93 miles (150km)
